From the Owner, Mark Peters – “I was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. I grew up working for my dad’s landscape company from childhood through college, learning the true value of hard work. I received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering, and went on working for a large General Contractor as a project manager and later obtained my Professional Engineering License. In my spare time, I remodeled and flipped houses as I moved around Ohio. Our love of the great outdoors brough my wife, two daughters, and I to God’s Country of Colorado. In March of 2023, I followed though with my dream and vision of starting my own business – Backcountry Construction Company."
